Why could not a vacation in Pisa be a vacation in close contact with nature?

This green area, which has been subject to environmental constraints since 1979, stretches from southern Viareggio to the northern outskirts of Livorno. This succession of marshy areas and Mediterranean maquis, sandy dunes and fields, sandy banks and ponds is the result of the combination of the force of nature and human work over the centuries.
