No doubt that quality costs. But you will still have the opportunity to make bargains. During the sale season (winter sales begin immediately after Christmas and go on for about 60 days; summer sales are in July and August) many clothing items are discounted by 20-30%. Renting an apartment in Florence in the sale season could therefore turn out to be a great idea.
