Elegantly furnished with antique pieces of furniture and provided with all modern comforts, the apartment is in a 14th-century building that opens on Borgo San Jacopo, a characteristic Florentine street rich in boutiques, restaurants and cafes.

The unique and charming panoramic terrace gives wide views of Via Maggio, Via dello Sprone, Borgo San Jacopo, Piazza Frescobaldi and Via di Santo Spirito. A small 14th-century loggia closes one side of the terrace. It was from this terrace that Francesco I de` Medici could observe his beloved Bianca Cappello, who lived in the building in Via Maggio that the Grand Duke commissioned in 1566 to Bernardo Buontalenti (who made also the wonderful fountain under the loggia). This apartment has witnessed one of the most beautiful and intense love stories in the Renaissance.
