The elegant apartment is on the fifth floor of a building with elevator situated in the picturesque Oltrarno district, in Florence historic centre, just a stone`s throw from the Pitti Palace, Boboli Gardens and Ponte Vecchio, the only remaining Florentine bridge that was not destroyed during World War II.
The Uffizi Gallery, Palazzo Vecchio and all the most important Florentine monuments are easily reached on foot.
Thanks to its large windows, the apartment is full of light; it also has three balconies, one of which affords a stunning view of Giotto`s bell tower, the Duomo and Palazzo Vecchio.

The only downside was that there were no safety measures such as smoke alarm, fire extinguisher, carbon monoxide detector. I have worked in tourism (for a British company in Spain) and these were obligatory in every property we rented (the carbon monoxide detectors were only for properties with gas appliances). I realise that different countries have different regulations, but we would have felt safer if these measures had been in place. They are very cheap and need no installation. However, the apartment was great, your service very efficient and we really enjoyed our stay, thank you.
