Description
The house is just a few kilometres from Certaldo, a historic village in the countryside west of Florence renowned for having given birth to Giovanni Boccaccio, the author of the famous "Decameron".
A few metres from the house are a torrent and a lake for sports fishing, whereas a riding stable is within 500 metres of the property.
The ideal accommodation for relaxing in the peaceful Tuscan countryside, the house is also an excellent departure point for visiting Florence, Siena, Pisa, Vinci, Montelupo Fiorentino and many other Tuscan tourist destinations that can be easily reached both by car and by train.
The cosy house has been recently renovated and is comfortably furnished.
The Outdoors
The private swimming pool (4.4x8 m; depth: 1.70 m) situated in the wide garden of about 1 hectare is fully fenced and exclusively reserved to guests.
A table for having meals al fresco and a masonry barbecue are at guests' disposal.
Accommodation
The house sleeps 4+2 guests in 1 double bedroom, 1 bedroom with two single beds and 1 double sofa bed, and has 1 bathroom.
On the ground floor are the kitchen and a bedroom with a bunk bed.
Two steps down is the living room with dining area, fireplace, double sofa bed and direct access to the garden.
Two steps up are a double bedroom with direct access to the garden and to the living room, and a bathroom with shower.

Tolle Lage für weitere Ausflugsmöglichkeiten durch die Nähe zum Ort Certaldo und die Anbindung zu Fernstraßen. Das große Grundstück bietet viele Möglichkeiten. Schade War, dass der beschriebene Barbecue grill nicht nutzbar war, da kein Grillrost zu finden war. Ansonsten War die Beschreibung wie angegeben. Das Haus wirkte zunächst etwas lieblos und kalt eingerichtet, es war aber gut ausgestattet und bietet einem was man zum Aufenthalt braucht, allerdings unserer Meinung nach für maximal 4 Personen belegbar. Alles in allem hatten wir einen tollen Aufenthalt und können das Anwesen weiterempfehlen.
